Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam was a social romantic movie released on May 24, 2002. The movie was directed by K.S. Adhiyaman and produced by K C Bokadia. The top roles in the movie were played by Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Atul Agnihotri while the supporting roles were played by Aruna Irani and Suman Ranganathan. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri and the songs were sung by Anuradha Paudwal, Bali Brahmabhatt, Bela Sulakhe, Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu.

The movie Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam has been in news and making for a long time. Producer of the movie K.C. Bokadia thanks the actors Salman Khan, Shah Rukh and Madhuri for standing along with him in tough time else the movie would not have been completed. The movie is a remake of Adiyaman’s Tamil hit “Thotta Chinungi”. The movie starts with Devnarayan ( Alok Nath ) taking the responsibility of Gopal ( Shah Rukh Khan ) and Nita ( Suman Ranganathan ) who are the children of his late friend.

Devnarayan gets so much attached to them that he forgets his daughter Laxmi (Aroona Irani) and her two kids Radha ( Madhuri Dixit ) and Prashant ( Atul Agnihotri ). Laxmi decides to part from her father and raise her children on own. Devnarayan falls ill and is hospitalized. On receiving this news, Laxmi gets killed in an accident when she was going to meet him. Gopal loved Radha and thus got married. Radha’s childhood friend Suraj ( Salman Khan ) is very close to her and this wasn’t liked by Gopal.
