The romantic thriller Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai was released on February 24, 2006 under the banner of Cineyug Films Pvt Ltd. The movie was directed by Bunty Soorma and produced by Bunty Soorma and Karim Morani. The lead roles were played by Bobby Deol, Johny Lever, Amisha Patel and Arjun Rampal while the roles of Alok Nath and Mukesh Tiwari were also significant. Music of the film was directed by Anand Raj Anand and the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Alka Yagnik and Sapna Awasthi.

The movie Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai did no wonder may because of the two reasons, one being that it does not include any visible star casts and other being that the time it took to get screened was really long. The movie began with the story of a blind girl Durga ( Amisha Patel ) who lived with her mother ( Suhasini Mulay ) in a little village of Rajasthan. Her ohysical disability didn’t stop her from making those beautiful clay statues which she learnt from her late father. She come across Rohit ( Arjun Rampal ) who worked in a fertilizer company. Rohit was also impressed by her skills and beauty and both fell in love with each other.

One day, a village gangster Rana ( Parmeet Sethi ) tried to make use of Durga’s disability and attempted to rape her but she was rescued by Rohit. Rohit takes her to an eye hospital where Dr. R.K. Prasad ( Kanwaljeet ) operates upon her. Operation becomes successful but before she could see him, Rohit was on his way to arrange for their wedding. On his way Rana and his friends attacks Rohit in which both Rana and Rohit dies. Dr. takes her along with him to Switzerland where she meets Raj ( Bobby Deol ) who also fell in love with her. It was a love at first sight for him but Durga avoided him.
