Bollywood movie, Imtihaan, directed by Harry Baweja was released in the year 1995. The movie starred Sunny Deol, Saif Ali Khan and Raveena Tandon in lead roles while Dalip Tahil, Gulshan Grover and Shakti Kapoor also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the film was given by famous music director, Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik etc. The movie did average business at the box office and the music of the film was also appreciated by the people.

The movie starts with Vicky ( Saif Ali Khan ), who is a famous singer. He meets with a beautiful girl named Preeti ( Raveena Tandon ) during one of his show and instantly fall in love with her. He proposes her but she refuses. He then aks her father for marrying her, who approves his wish. Preeti also agrees to marry him for his father’s wish. However, she wants to tell Vicky about her past life. But her father make her promise that she will never tell Vicky anything about her past life.

Preeti’s father falls ill and in his last time tells her that she had a daughter named Pinky, whom he admitted in an orphanage. Preeti’s father dies and she then decides to adopt Pinky. But Vicky opposes this and wants his own children. Things becomes worse between the two when he finds out that Preeti is having an affair with someone. He decides to collect evidence against her. Is Preeti really having an affair with someone? Will Preeti tell him about her past life?
