The action movie Insaaf Ki Awaz was released on November 14, 1986 under the banner of Suresh Prod. The movie was directed as well as produced by D Rama Naidu. The lead roles in the movie were enacted by Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Rekha and Jagdeep while the presence of Asrani, Gulshan Grover, Shafi Inamdaar, Roopesh Kumar, Kader Khan and Aruna Irani supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and S.P. Balasubramaniam.

As the name of the movie suggests, the movie Insaaf Ki Awaz was an action flick that had some good sequences of the action at regular intervals. The movie was able to grip the audience for a good period of time. The story of the movie revolved mostly around an honest police officer named Jhansi Rani ( Rekha ). She is also married to an honest and true man who works in a factory. The factory was owned by two wicked people named Mahendranath and Kailashnath.

The movie takes a turn when Jhansi Rani’s brother Ravi started loving Mahendranath’s daughter which was a thing Mahendranath never liked. She was now tortured by these two people who also killed Chandra Shekhar. They are now playing a game of cat and mouse with her. Jhansi was left with no option but to resign from her job. Now it was the story of her brother Ravi fighting to take the revenge from the two wicked people.
