The action and patriotic movie Insaaniyat was released on March 11, 1994 under the banner of Navjeevan Films. The movie was directed by Tony and produced by Tito. The main roles in the movie were played by Amitabh Bachchan, Chunky Pandey, Sunny Deol and Jaya Prada while the roles of Raveena Tandon, Sonam and Vinod Mehra were also important. Music of the film was directed by Rajesh Roshan and the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Sadhana Sargam, Sapna Mukherjee, Mangal Singh and Padmini.

There have been many patriotic movies in the Bollywood and this movie Insaaniyat was just another. The story of the movie revolves mostly around an honest police inspector Amar ( Amitabh Bachchan ). He was inspecting a suspicious person and found that Brijbhan ( Anupam Kher ) was involved in criminal activities, as well as terrorism and has the full co-operation of some employees in the police department and also of some in Indian army.

Along with Brijbhan, Amar was also required to stop the rivalry between two gang leaders Karim Lala ( Sunny Deol ) and Hariharan ( Chunky Pandey ). He was successful in convincing them and also convinced them to join the police force to stop the illegal activities of Brijbhan. On the other hand, British intelligence wanted to divide Hindus with Muslims with a decoit named Goga ( Goga Kapoor ) who is Brijbhan’s father. Brijbhan decides to continue his father’s work with the help of General and a corrupt cop, inspector Lotaram ( Prem Chopra ).
