Bollywood movie, Inteqam : The Perfect Game, directed by Pankaj Parahsar and written by Rajiv Babbar was released in the year 2004. The movie starred Manoj Bajpai and Netra Raghuraman in lead roles while Isha Koppikar, Sharat Saxena, Sanjay Swaraj, Parmita kakkar, Vani Tripathi, Satyajeet Sharma and devika Panjabi also played significant characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by none other than the well known music director duo Anand Milind while the songs were crooned by Udit Narayan, Sadhana Sargam, Richa Sharma, Sapna Mukherjee, Poornima etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Uday Dhirendra Thakur ( Manoj Bajpai ), who is Assitant Commissioner of Police by profession. Uday is famous for his unique way of working. He is famous for bringing criminals to justice and if her fails to do so then he simply kills them in fake encounters. Then starts a series of murders in the city and police authority assumes that these deaths are the case of serial killings. The case is then assigned to Uday. He starts his ivestigation and soon gets evidence which points to a renowned author, Avantika Suryavansh ( Isha Koppikar ).

He strongly suspects Avantika as the murders have been performed in the same manner as described in her book, Inteqaam: The Perfect Game. Uday tries to reveal about the past life of Avantika but fails. It is then he manage to learn that Avantika’s mother is in mental asylum for several years. He then confronts Avantika for this and it is then he reveals the other side of Avantika’s personality which is unknown to everyone.
