Bollywood action packed thriller, I…Proud to Be an Indian, directed by Puneet Sira and written by Vekeana Dhillon was released on February 13, 2004. The movie starred Sohail Khan and Hina Tasleem in lead roles while Aasif Sheikh, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tim Lawrence, Imran Ali Khan, Scott Hinds, Keval Shah, Shikha and Kashmira Sunni also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by music director Daboo Malik while the songs were crooned by Babul Supriyo, Srinivas, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Krishna, Sukhdev Singh etc.

An Indian guy ( Sohail Khan ), visits London alongwith his father ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ) in order to attend a wedding in the family. His elder brother ( Aasif Sheikh ) has been residing in London from a long time and now planning to get his daughter married there. On his day in London, Sohail learns that Indian community residing there are living under the terror of skinheads, who just want to drive all the asians away from London. Sohail fights with some skinheads when they tries to misbehave with his sister-in-law.

After that incident, his elder brother’s daughter is terrorized by skinheads in her college. Sohail goes there and beats up quite a few of them. Theses two incidents gets his name eneter in the bad book of the leader of skinheads, Cain ( Tim Lawrence ). Cain then assign the job of killing Sohail to a Pakistani guy named Aslam Firoz ( Imran Ali Khan ). But Aslam also decides to support Sohail when he reveals that his own sister, Noor ( Heena Tasleem ) is in love with Sohail.
