Bollywood romantic flick, Ishq Mein Jeena Ishq Mein Marna, directed by Miraq Mirza and written by Jalees Sherwani was released on June 24, 1994. The movie starred Aashif Sheikh and Divya Dutta in lead roles while Dalip Tahil, Shafi Inamdar, Ravi saagar, Bharat Kapoor, Kuldeep malik and Brij Gopal also played important characters in the film. The romantic music of the movie was directed by the music director duo Shyam Surender while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Karan ( Aashif Sheikh ), who is living a poor lifestyle alongwith his parents. he come across a beautiful girl named Divya ( Divya Dutta ) and falls in love with her. After few initial fights, Divya too get attracted towards Karan. Karan and Divya then decides to get married to each other. But the problem is that Divya belongs to a wealthy family and her father won’t allow her to get married to a guy with a poor background.

But Karan and Divya are determined to get married to each other. Divya refuse to listen her father order and runs away alongwith Karan. But soon they realizes that running away from the home is not the actual solution of the problem. Divya’s father hires some goons to kill Karan. What will happen now to these two love birds?
