Bollywood family drama, Izzat Ki Roti, directed by K. Pappu and written by Anwar Khan was released on August 13, 1993. The movie starred Sunny Deol and Juhi Chawla in lead roles while Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tanuja, Farha naaz, Anjana Mumtaz, Urmila Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Dan Dhanoa, Prem Chopra and Anupam Kher also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by none other than well known music director Bappi lahiri while the songs were rendered by Kumar Sanu, Amit Kumar, Mohammed Aziz, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal etc.

The movie starts with two very close friends named Jeet ( Sunny Deol ) and Krishna ( Rishi Kapoor ), who have the same liking and always think on the same line. Jeet meets with a beautiful girl named Jyoti Prasad ( Juhi Chawla ) and instantly falls in love with her. On the other ahnd, Rishi Kapoor also get attarcted towards Jyoti after seeing her for the first time. They both enquires each other about their love but little does they knows is that they both are in love with the same girl.

Jyoti get attracted towards Jeet and soon they both express their love for each other. Krishna gets heartbroken when he reveals that Jeet is in love with Jyoti and Jyoti too loves Jeet and not him. Krishna decides to go away from their life. But just after his exit from Jeet’s life, Jeet gets into a big problem which can results in his death also.
