Jaan Tere Naam was a romantic movie released in the tear of 1992. The movie was directed by Deepak Balraj Vij and produced by Jimmy Narula. The top roles in the movie were played by Ronit Roy, Vijay Arora, Farheen and Ajit Vachchani while the roles of Sulbha Deshpande, Shahnaz and Anju Mahendroo were also important. Music of the film was directed by Nadeem Saifee and Shravan Kumar while the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Sadhana Sargam, Alka Yagnik, Asha Bhosle and Udit Narayan.

Jaan Tere Naam was a good romantic movie that deals with the relations of some boys and girls studying together in a college. The story of the movie revolves mostly around a beautiful girl named Pinky Malhotra ( Farheen ) who has a reputation of breaking hearts of several guys falling for her. She has a huge fan following of men who can do anything for her. Amongst them are two guys Sunil ( Ronit Roy ) and Vicky. Though she is loved by many guys, she loves Sunil very much.

Sunil and Pinky are in deep love with each other and wanted to marry each other after the completion of their college. But before that could happen, Pinky finds out Sunil is cheating on her and is dating other young girl in the same college. Pinky feels disheartened and decides to end her relationship with him and started dating Vicky. Now Sunil wanted to talk to her and clear all the things but she was not ready to talk to him. Pinky just always refused to talk to him.
