Bollywood fantsy action thriller, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, written and directed by Rajkumar Kohli was released on August 16,2002. The movie starred Arman Kohli, Akshay Kumar and Manisha Koirala in lead roles while Sunny Deol, Sonu Nigam, Sharad Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rambha, Kiran Rathod, Aftab Shivdasani, Amrish Puriu, Aman Verma, Upasana Singh, Suniel Shetty, Aditya Pancholi, Shahbaaz Khan, Raj Babbar, Rajat Bedi and Jaspal Bhatti also played important roles in the movie. The melodious music of the movie was given by Anand Raj Anand and the duo Anand-Milind in collaboration while the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Pamela Jain, Jaspinder Narula, Sunidhi Chauhan etc.

The movie starts with a college student named Diyva ( Manisha Koirala ), who is in love with a guy named Karan Saxena ( Sunny Deol ) and is planning to get married with him soon. Karan goes to London for a business trip. Karan’s younger brother, Vivek Saxena ( Sonu Nigam ) is in the same college and is also a good friend of Divya. Vivek and Divya are the members of the same college group which includes Atul ( Akshay Kumar ), Vijay, Prem, Rashmi, Niki, Priti etc. But the two guys in the group are having a bad eye on Divya and wants to have her on the bed for once. Divya meets with a snake with magical powers, Kapil ( Arman kohli ), who tells her that she was also a sanke in her previous life and he is waiting for her from several years.

Divya remembers everything but she tells him that she is already engaged with a guy. Divya is raped by the two guys of the group and she kills herself. Kapil swears to get revenge from the whole group and starts killing all of them one by one. But except the two guys, who raped Divya, all are innocent and therefore Principal Joseph ( Raj Babbar ) decides to protect them. But how these normal guys will fight out and protect themselves from a man with some extraordinary magical powers?
