Jail is a social movie that is going to release on September 25, 2009 under the banners of Percept Picture Company and Bhandarkar Entertainment. The movie is being directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and produced by Sanjay Mehta. The main roles in the movie are being played by Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manoj Bajpai, Mugdha Godse and Arya Babbar while the presence of Chetan Pandit and Ghanshyam Garg supports the film. The music of the film is directed by Shamir Tandon, Sharib Sabri and Toshi Sabri.

The story of the movie revolves mostly around a man named Parag Dixit ( Neil Nitin Mukesh ) who is presently living a life that he has dreamt of. He is living a very comfortable life with a great job and his understanding and lovely girlfriend Maansi ( Mugdha Godse ). Everything was going fine for him until one day everything changes and he finds himself in jail where he was handcuffed and beaten up by the police.

Parag was shocked and depressed at a place away from his luxurious life. He never thought that it was his real life but considered it to be a nightmare which he hopes will get over soon. The only person who can help him and his only hope was Nawab ( Manoj Bajpai ), a convict and a warder who knows that Parag is innocent and should be freed.
