Jawani Diwani - A Youthful Joyride was a romantic movie released on January 6, 2006 under the banner of V R Entertainers. The movie was directed by Manish Sharma and produced by N R Pachisia. The lead roles in the movie were played by Emraan Hashmi, Hrishita Bhatt, Celina Jaitley and Mahesh Manjrekar while the roles of Shehzad Khan and Sherlyn Chopra were also important. The music of the film was directed by Clinton Cerejo and Sajid-Wajid while the songs were sung by Bobby Moon, Sowmya Roah, Hamza Faruqui, Sonu Nigam and Suhaas.

The movie Jawani Diwani is a romantic movie and was also supposed to be comic but watching the film may be a let down to you as there was nothing comic in the film. The movie revolves around Mann Kapoor ( Emraan Hashmi ) who is a famous singer of the town. He had good number of opportunities and he uses his head before his heart to grab the opportunity. This also made him selfish and thus he didn’t think twice before making Radha ( Hrishitaa Bhatt ) his girlfriend. It was purely for his selfish reason that she was a daughter of Umesh Jumani ( Tiku Talsania ) who was the owner of a successful music company.

Mann was signed with the music company for launching his music album and his marriage was planned with Radha. The above reasons ensure Mann giving his friends a treat in Goa. Little does he knew that flirting around and the one night stand with a Goa beauty Roma ( Celina Jaitley ) would give him all sorts of troubles that he will have to repent all his life. He was caught red handed when sleeping with her and he was now required to marry her as she was also loved by an underworld don, Chappu Bhai ( Mahesh Manjrekar ).
