Bollywood family musical drama, Jeene Ki Raah, directed by L. V. Prasad and written by Anand Bakshi was released in the year 1969. The movie starred Jeetendra and Tanuja in lead roles while Manmohan Krishna, Jagdeep, Anjali Kadam, Durga Khote, Sudhir Kumar, Viju Khote, Karan Dewan, Roopesh Kumar and C. S. Dubey also played important characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Mohammed Rafi, Bhupendra singh, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle and Usha Mangeshkar.

Mohan ( Jeetendra ) is the only hope of his mother and the rest of the family members. His family comprises of his wife, Shobha ( Anjali Kadam ) and a daughter, Guddi, a step-sister, Durga ( Bela Bose ), her husband, Ramdas ( Roopesh Kumar ), their son and two brother and two sisters. Mohan has completed his post graduation and is now looking over to take the responsibilty of the whole family on his own. Mohan relocates to Bombay and starts searching for a good job so that he can make a better lifestyle for himself and his family.

There he meets with his friend, Dr. Manohar ( Sanjeev Kumar ) and with his help gets a decent job with Kamalraj Mansukhlal ( Manmohan Krishna ). He makes his saving from the income and send it to his village to his family. But his step sister, Durga keeps all the money for herself only. She even throws out the other family members out of the house. They all then arrives Bombay in search of Mohan and ends up meeting with Manohar. But they all get shcoked to learn that Mohan is living a double life and is married to another women named Radha ( Tanuja ).
