Jeete Hain Shaan Se was an action movie released on August 4, 1988. The movie was directed by Kewal Sharma and produced by P Bhagyam. The actors in the lead role in the movie were Mithun Chakraborty, Mandakini, Sanjay Dutt and Govinda while the presence of Vijeyta Pandit, Danny Denzongpa, Tiwari, Sudhir and Paintal supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Shabbir Kumar, Shailendra Singh, Anuradha Paudwal, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Anu Malik.

Jeete Hain Shaan Se was an action movie that revolved mostly around three close friends Johny ( Mithun Chakraborty ), Govinda ( Sanjay Dutt ), and Iqbal Ali ( Govinda ) who live near by in a small community in Bombay. They all are simple and generous people which can be seen from the fact that they not only helped each other but also the poor people of the community. This quality of theirs caught the attention of a local gangster who call himself DK. The tragic moment catches Govinda when his mother passes away.

At the time of funeral Govinda meets his father, Advocate Verma ( Satyen Kappu ) who had been missing from a very long time. Also a police inspector introduces Johny to his mother Mary ( Gita Siddharth ). The three friends became very happy as they found what they have been searching for their whole life. The twist in the story comes when Johny finds that Advocate Verma was responsible for the atrocities faced by his mother years ago.
