Jhuta Sach was a family drama released on November 16, 1984 under the banner of A G Films. The movie was directed by Esmayeel Shroff while the producer was A G Nadiawala. The main roles in the movie were played by Dharamendra, Rekha, Asrani and Amrish Puri. Some good roles were played by Aruna Irani, Lalita Pawar and two child artists Jugal Hansraj and Baby Pinki. The music of the movie was given by R D Burman while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar.

The movie opens with Vijay ( Dharamendra ) who is a widower and has two kids. He tries to bring up his two children with all love and affection. His kids, son Binny ( Jugal Hansraj ) and daughter Chinky ( Baby Pinki ) wanted him to get remarried. Now, the kids select a girl named Alka ( Rekha ) who is an upcoming singer. Vijay and Alka meet each other and got married. On their way back to home from their honeymoon they met with an accident and Vijay died on the spot.

Now Alka is shocked and is scared to tell the real truth to the kids. So Alka decides to hire a man named Tiger ( Dharamendra ) who looks like Vijay and actually is a killer. He agrees to play the role of Vijay for 30 days. Tiger wants a sum of three lakh rupees from Alka to which she agrees. The plan was forced to action and Tiger makes the kids hate him. On the very last day when Tiger was about to leave, Alka receives a call and comes to know that the kids are kidnapped. Is Tiger the man behind all this?
