Bollywood romantic movie, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, directed by Mansoor khan was released on May 22, 1992. The movie starred Aamir Khan and Ayesha Jhulka in lead roles while Mamik, Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bedi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kiran Zaveri, Ahmed Khan, Deb Mukherjee and Suraj Thapar also played important charcaters in the movie. The music of the film was given by famous music director duo, Jatin-Lalit, while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Udit Narayan, Jatin Pandit, Sadhana Sargam, Alka Yagnik etc. The movie proved out to be a huge box office hit of that year.

Sanju ( Aamir Khan ) is the son of a local cafe owner and is studying in the Model school which is for the poor kids of Nainital. Rajput and Xavier college is for the spoilt kids belonging to the rich family. Sanju’s father ( Kulbhushan Kharbanda ) wants his elder son, Ratan ( Mamik ) to win the annual cycle race for him. But because of the lack of sufficient resources, Ratan looses the race and Shekar malhotra ( Deepak Tijori ) of Rajput College wins the race. Ratan promises his father that next time he will definitely become the cycling chamion. There is a major difference between Ratan and Sanju, as Ratan is an ideal son while Sanju is a good for nothing guy.

Sanju has no interest in study and keeps playing pranks with his friends. Anjali ( Ayesha Jhulka ) is the best friend of Sanju and she is secretely in love with him. But Sanju treats her just like a friend. Then enters the sexy babe, Devika ( Pooja Bedi ), in his life and he convinces her that he is the son of a rich person. But when Devika finds out that Sanju is from the Model school, she dumps him. During a fight, Ratan is badly injured by Shekar and then Sanju decides to take part in the cycle race. He is determined to win this race.
