Johny I Love You was a romantic action film that was released on November 19, 1982. The movie was directed by Rakesh Kumar while the movie was produced by Tony. The major roles in the movie were played by Sanjay Dutt, Tanuja, Rati Agnihotri and Monty while the roles of Amrish Puri, Suresh Oberoi and Om Parkesh were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Rajesh Roshan while the songs were sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.

Johny I Love You was a romantic cum action film that revolved mostly around a bandit named Suraj Singh ( Suresh Oberoi ) who after the death of his wife Savitri decides to go straight and leave this field. He seeked the help of a Catholic Priest Father John and thus goes to work in a small community along with his young son, Raju ( Sanjay Dutt ). Suraj was although afraid of his former crime partner named Zalim Singh ( Amrish Puri ).

Suraj knew that Zalim Singh may come in search of him and teach him a lesson but before this could happen he decides to change his sone Raju’s name to Johny. Johny matures with time and falls in love with a girl named Seema who was none other than the daughter of their employer Colonel ( Om Prakash ). But Suraj asks him to marry someone with a girl who is rich and wealthy. Seema agrees to marry anyone her grandfather chooses, which is Amar, who has returned from London.
