Jumbo is an animation movie going to release on December 25, 2008 under the banner of Percept Picture Company. Voices of the different characters in the film are given by Akshay Kumar, Rajpal Yadav, Lara Dutta and Dimple Kapadia while Gulshan Grover and Asrani also gave their voice for the movie. The music of the film is being directed by Ram Sampat and the songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Sona Mohapatra, Sukhwinder Singh, Joi Barua, Kunal Ganjawala and Krishna.

The story of the movie Jumbo revolves mostly around Jumbo ( Akshay Kumar ) who is a jungle elephant who is curious about his father whom he never saw. The twist in his life comes when he goes out to find his father and ends up becoming the king of the jungle. Sonia ( Lara Dutta ) is a kind hearted and sweet female elephant. At first Jumbo didn’t like her but with the passage of time their relationship turned into pure love. Dildaar ( Rajpal Yadav ), Jumbo’s partner, is a talkative bird and a messenger from the army.

Devi ( Dimple Kapadia ) plays Jumbo’s mother who dislike humans before anyone but is as protective as a mother can be. Bakhtavar ( Gulshan Grover ) is the Royal elephant from the opposing army and is the one who killed Jumbo’s father. Since his childhood, Jumbo was taunted by his friends that he was fatherless. Thus he was curious to know about his father and goes out to find him. He then comes across various situations that also lends him in trouble.
