The social romantic movie Just Married was released on March 16, 2007 under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications. The movie has been directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Rangita Pritish Nandy. The actors in the lead roles were Fardeen Khan, Bikram Saluja, Esha Deol and Perizaad Zorabian. The supporting roles were played by Satish Shah, Sadia Siddiqui, Kirron Kher and Rohit Roy. The music of the film has been directed by Pritam Chakraborty and the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Daler Mehndi, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mahalakshmi Iyer, Shaan, Sonu Nigam and Neeraj Shridhar.

As the name of the movie suggests, the theme of the movie is based upon marriage. The story revolves around Abhay Sachdeva ( Fardeen Khan ) who is a funny, friendly and a guy with high ambitions. He is like just another guy chilling out with friends at pubs, working in a great Multi National Comapany, gymming etc. But despite all these he knows his duties well that he will have to return to India after completing his MBA and marry the girl his parents have chosen for him. He knew that there are a lot of surprises for him in future and he is ready for that.

Ritika Khanna ( Esha Deol ) was the girl chosen for Abhay. What was strange that she needs to go for honeymoon just after 24 hours of marriage for 5 days and that too with someone whom she don’t exactly know. She wanted to know more about him before their marriage but destiny didn’t give her any chance. Now she will have to live with the fact that she is now Ritika Sachdeva. She wanted to know if he was also against the arranged marriage or not and if he was then why did he marry this way? Marriage was their beginning in search of love.
