Jeetendra and Hema Malini starrer action drama, Justice Chaudhary was released on July 15, 1983. The movie was directed by K. Raghuvendra Rao and written by Kadar Khan. The other starcast of the movie includes Sridevi, Moushami Chatterjee, Kadar Khan, Arun Govil, Raj Kiran, Prema Narayan, Satyendra Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Asrani also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the movie was directed by the very famous music director Bappi lahiri while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle.

The movie starts with well known and reputed, Justice R. K. Chowdhury ( Jeetendra ), who was an honest judge. His family comprises of his wife, Janki ( Moushami Chaudhary ) and a son named Ramesh ( Arun Govil ), who is a police inspector by profession. The only reason of his unhappiness is his mute daughter, Lakshmi, as no one wants to marry her. He ordered a criminal named Shankar Singh ( Shakti Kapoor ) to death and this resulted in his enemity with Shankar’s twin brother Jai Singh. His enemy list also includes the name of Advocate Kailashnath ( Kadar Khan ).

Jai Singh and Kailash plans a dirty game against Justice and sends their own henchman named Gopal ( Raj Kiran ) to him to marry his mute daughter. Justice becomes happy with the arrival of Gopal and immediately announces the marraige of Gopal and Lakshmi. Soon thye both get married. Justice Chaudhary soon reveals about the real intentions of Gopal but is in not in position to do anything against him. In addition to this, his enemies also frames his son, Ramesh in a wrong case and get him arrested by police.
