The action and patriotic movie Kaafila has been released on August 10, 2007. The movie has been directed by Ammtoje Mann and produced by Tony Sandhu. The lead artists in the film were Sunny Deol, Sudesh Berry, Sana Nawaz and Ammtoje Mann while significant roles were played by Monalisa, Sambhavna Sheth, Polina Stoynova and Ashish Duggal. The music of the film was directed by Sukhwinder Singh and the songs were sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Abhijeet, Daler Mehndi, Nabi Madjnun and Shahaanaa Pandit.

This is a patriotic movie that reveals the harsh reality that is faced by several people in small towns. Kaafila refers to a group of people that travel together and in this movie it stands for the people that are migrating to better and developed countries but illegally in hopes of leading a better and flourishing life. These immigrants often put their life, career and family at risk just to move to a new and sound place where they can earn a living easily and lead a good life. Kaafila in the movie was heading to United Kingdom but have to hide for six months at some unknown place in Eastern Europe because of their Illegal status.

This illegal activity is not just confined to developing countries like India but also to some good and developed countries, making it an International problem. There was no one to help the people so they decided to help each other and became familiar to others. They managed to escape from there just to face the more difficult situations. They faced several hard situations and were also made to travel jam packed in a ship. Death came to them in various forms like sinking ship and snowfall. Sameer ( Sunny Deol ) proved protective to them saving them from various bad situations.
