Bollywood action thriller, Kabeela, directed by Bolu Khosla and written by A. K. Aggarwal was released in the year 1976. The movie starred Feroz Khan and Rekha in lead roles while Prem Nath, Sharat Saxena, V. Gopal, Manju Asrani, Surendranath, Kamini Kaushal, Bindu and Sudhir also played important roles in the film. The melodious music of the movie was composed by none other than veteran music director duo Kalyanji-Anandji while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with a beautiful girl anmed Shobha ( Rekha ), who is living a poor lifestyle alongwith her father in a remote village. One day she is attacked by a bull and a guy named mangal ( Feroz Khan ) comes to her rescue. The two falls in love with each other. She is abducted by a unknown guy and is taken to a man named Dildaar ( Trilok Kapoor ). But one again mangal comes to her rescue and saves her from being molested by Dildaar. He drops Shobha to her home where she finds that her father has paased away. Se is then forced by lusty lal to marry him but she refuses and runs away from there.

She decides to get married with Mangal, who is the son of Sardar Babbar ( Prem Nath ). But her dreams get shattered when Mangal refuses to recognize her in front of his camp members. When she tries to commit suicide Mangal once again comes to her and apologize for his behaviour. But there is one big secret about Mangal to which she is still unknown and that is that it was Mangal who abducted her and too her to Dildaar. What will happen now?
