Bollywood movie, Kabhie Kabhie, written and directed by Yash Chopra was released on January 27, 1976. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Rakhee Gulzar in lead roles while Shashi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh and Waheeda Rehman also played significant roles in the movie. The movie starts with Amitabh Malhotra aka Amit ( Amitabh bachchan ), who is a young poet. He is in love with a beautiful girl, Pooja ( Rakhee Gulzar ). Both of them decides to get married to each other. But destiny play it’s game and Pooja marries Vijay Khanna ( Shashi Kapoor ) for the wishes of her parents. Later Amit also get married to Anjali ( Waheeda Rehman ). Now the stroy moves to the next generation, Pooja’s son, Vikram aka Vicky falls in love with a young girl named Pinky ( Neetu Singh ). But later Pinky’s parents reveals that she is not their real daughter and they adopted her as a baby.

Pinky then searches for her real parents and finds her real mother, Anjali. Sometimes later Anjali and Amit’s daughter Sweety ( Naseem ) comes in the picture. Sweety starts feeling jealous as her mother shows more affection to Pinky now. Sweety becomes even more jealous at the time when she finds out that Pinky and Vicky loves each other. Sweety also have love feelings for Vicky. Pinky, Sweety and Vicky forms a love triangle.
