The social and adult movie Kachchi Kali was released in the year of 1987 under the banner of Ambika Chitra. The movie was directed by K R Rangan and produced by P L Ahuja. The lead roles in the movie were played by Alok Nath, Ajinkya Deo, Sonika Gill and Prem Kumar while the presence of Kapil, Kapil Karzan, Abhilasha, Sangeeta, Anuja and Pinchoo Kapoor supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Usha Khanna while the songs were sung by Mohammad Aziz, Vinod Rathod, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shabbir Kumar and Anuradha Paudwal.

The female lead was played by Sonika Gill who debuted with the movie Nazrana Pyar Ka released in 1980. She also acted in the movie Ladies Tailor and Tirangaa.
