Kala Bazar was an action movie released on October 6, 1989. The movie was directed by Rakesh Roshan and produced by Vijay Soorma. The main roles in the movie were played by Anil Kapoor, Farha, Jackie Shroff and Kimi Katkar while Raza Murad, Kiran Kumar, Shafi Inamdaar and Kader Khan were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Rajesh Roshan while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Shabbir Kumar, Sadhana Sargam, Kumar Sanu, Sarika Kapoor, Nitin Mukesh, Asha Bhosle and Anwar.

Kala Bazar was an action flick that showcased the modern secular India full of corruption and discrimination. The movie displays the story of a man from Bombay Municipal Corporation and working there as an employee named Kimtilal ( Kader Khan ). Kimtilal’s wife Shanti ( Aparajita ) was pregnant and was required to get checked up to the gynecologist but due to the corruption taken all over the India, he was required to pay the bribe to the doctor to get his appointment fixed.

Shanti was to give birth to her premature son Kamal ( Jackie Shroff ). When Kamal grew up, Kimti again had to bribe for his admission into a school. Then he had to pay another bribe so that his son could successfully pass his college examination, and go on to join the Bombay Police Force. But the story does not end here as Kimti continued to pay and receive bribes one after another as this had become a habit and need of almost everyone.
