Bollywood action thriller, Kanoon Kya Karega, directed by Mukul Anand was released in the year 1984. The movie starred Suresh Oberoi and Deepti Naval in lead roles while Danny Denzongpa, Iftekhaar, T. P. Jain, Nana Palsikar, Madhu Malhotra, Sharat Saxena, Asha Sachdev and Shraddha Verma also played significant characters in the film. The melodious music of the film was composed by none other than well known music director Salil Chaudhary while the songs were rendered by Amit Kumar Ganguly, Shabbir Kumar, Poornima etc.

Gautam Mehra ( Suresh Oberoi ) is an advocate by profession. He lives alongwith his wife, Anju ( Deepti Naval ) and a daughter named Raksha ( Shraddha Verma ). One day while returing to his home, Gautam witness a women being molested by Raghuveer Singh ( Danny Denzongpa ) and his mens. He tries to stop them and also calls the police. Raghuveer isd arrested by police. Raghuveer tries to convince Gautam for forgetting about this incident but fails. Raghuveer is sentenced to jail for seven long years.

After completing his prison time, Raghuveer comes out of the jail. He is seeking revenge from Gautam. Gautam is known about his intentions and therefore seeking help from police. But police can do nothing in it as Raghu has not committed any crime yet. Gautam decides to relocate to some other city to prevent himself and his family from Raghuveer’s bad intentions. But is this will be enough for him for feeling secure from Raghuveer?
