Bollywood hit movie, Karan Arjun, directed by Rakesh Roshan was released on 13 January 1995. The movie starred Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Mamta Kulkarni and Kajol in lead roles while Amrish Puri, Rakhee and Jhonny Lever also played important roles in the film. The movie was distributed under the banner of Film Kraft productions. The superhit music of the film was given by Rajesh Roshan and the songs were sung by Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Shraddha Sargam. The movie went on to become one of the biggest hit of that year.

The movie starts with two brothers Karan Singh ( Salman Khan ) and Arjun Singh ( Shahrukh Khan ) and their mother Durga Singh ( Rakhee ). They are living a poor but happy life in a rural Indian village. But one day the brothers come to know about their rich grandfather, who is dangerously ill and wants to meet them. The brothers visit their grandfather’s mansion with their mother. Their grandfather has delivered all his property to them. When, Thakur Durjan Singh ( Amrish Puri ), comes to know about this, he kills both the brothers.

Durga refuses to accept the death of her sons and pleads goddess Kali to send her sons back. Soon, the two brothers reborn into separate families as Vijay and Ajay. Ajay ( Salman Khan ) is a fighter who use to fight for money. A businessman, Saxena ( Ranjeet ), offers him the job of his hit man which he agrees to do. On the other hand, Vijay ( Shahrukh Khan ) is an extremely skilled horseman. He is in love with a beautiful girl, Sonia Saxena ( Kajol ), who is th daughter of Saxena. How Ajay and Vijay learns about their previous life and how they take revenge from Durjan Singh is worth watch.
