The romantic movie Kasak was released on September 30, 2005 under the banner of Archana Media Pvt. Ltd. The movie was directed and produced by Rajeev Babbar. The significant roles were played by Lucky Ali, Mukesh Tiwari, Meera and Puneet Issar while the supporting roles were played by Mukesh Rawal and Anil Nagrath. The music of the film was directed by Mukesh Rawal and Anil Nagrath while the songs were sung by Lucky Ali, Anuradha Paudwal, Madhushree, Shreya Ghosal and Jagjit Singh.

Kasak was the movie featuring the singer Lucky Ali in the lead role while he did few roles earlier which were not that famous. The movie is based on the theme of human relationships and displays the emotions of selfishness, love, sacrifice and jealousy in one of the most surprising forms that makes us realize that everything we wish does not come true. Amar ( Lucky Ali ) is a simple guy who loves his mother a lot. His mother is suffering from Diabetes and he helps her fighting it day and night. After her death his only goal was to help and serve others.

Thus Amar became a helper at the Gayatri Devi Diabetic center and his life is now the patients that are fighting from their problems there. He keeps them happy and also laughs and cries with them to share their emotions. Anjali ( Meera ) who is an ambitious girl, is also working in the same center. She wants to fulfill her dream at any cost and in shortest possible ways. They both were quite different in nature but both loved each other. But Amar loses her as the only feeling left in him was of pain and not love.
