The action thriller Katilon Ka Katil was released on September 10, 1981. The movie was directed as well as produced by Arjun Hingorani. The top roles in the movie were played by Dharmendra, Zeenat Aman, Rishi Kapoor and Tina Munim while the supporting roles were played by Shakti Kapoor, Amjad Khan and Nirupa Roy. The music of the film was directed by Kalayanji and Anandji while the songs were sung by Mahendra Kapoor, Aziz, Anwar, Hemlata, Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle.

The movie Katilon Ka Katil was an action film that revolved mostly around a wealthy woman. She lived happily with her family consisting of her husband and two sons but she was left devastated one day when her husband was killed and her both sons were kidnapped. She was left with no one in this world and lived her entire life in searching her sons. One day she came across a young man named Munna ( Rishi Kapoor ) who was wearing her family necklace in his neck.

She knew that Munna was her son and thus instantly takes him to her palatial house with her. Then one day she also comes across a young man named Ajit ( Dharmendra ) who was also wearing the same locket around his neck. She also accepts him as her son and takes him to her house. Ajit was the elder of the two. Now when she was satisfied that she has got her sons back she shows them her family treasure and the key combinations to open them. But in reality the young men were not her sons.
