Bollywood movie, Khel, directed by Rakesh Roshan was released in the year 1991. The movie starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles while former bollywood actress, Mala Sinha alongwith Prem Chopra, Vijyendra Ghatge, Anupam Kher and Rakesh Roshan also played important roles in the film. The music of the film was given by music director Rajesh Roshan while the songs were sung by Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh etc. The movie recieved average response from the audience.

The movie starts with a rich widowed women, Sulakshana Devi ( Mala Sinha ), who lives with her son, Ravi ( Vijayendra Ghatge ) and his relative Balwant ( Prem Chopra ). Her son Ravi meets with an accident and dies. After his death, a pregnant women named Kamini approaches Sulakshana devi and tells her that she is carrying Ravi’s child. However, Sulakshana Devi disbeliefs her and throws her out. But soon she realizes her mistake when Ravi’s close friend, Sanjay Gupta ( Vivek Vasvani ) informs her about Kamini. She then tries to find out Kamini but all her efforts goes in vain.

Years later, two con persons, Arun Kumar ( Anil Kapoor ) and Seema ( Madhuri Dixit ) decides to play a game ( khel ) to get the whole property of Sulakshana Devi. Seema’s uncle ( Anupam Kher ) is also very much in this game. According to plan, Arun retrieves Sulakshana Devi’s purse from a thief to impress her. In return Sulakshana hires him for a job. Then Arun finds out all the important things about her son, Ravi. In the final scene of their plan, he presents Seema as the daughter of Ravi and Kamini. Later the things discloses and it is also revealed that Ravi was actually killed by someone. Now the question is where is Kamini and his child?
