Khel was an action thriller movie released on October 3, 2003 under the banners of Popcorn Motion Pictures and Galaxy Entertainment Corporation Ltd. The movie was directed by Yusuf Khan and included the actors in lead roles as Sunny Deol, Ajay Jadeja, Sunil Shetty and Celina Jaitley. The supporting roles were played by Gulshan Grover and Supriya Karnik. The songs of the movie were sung by Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shailendra, Kumar Sanu and Kavita Krishnamurthy.

Khel is the debut movie of the editor turned director Yusuf Khan but this being his first film, the direction is satisfactory. According to the lead hero Sunil Shetty, the movie is not a just another commercial film as there is a well defined logic behind every incident that takes place in the film. The production of the movie completed so fast that it was lauched within the 8 months of its launch. The story of the movie revolves around two close friends Dev Mallya ( Suniel Shetty ) and Rohan Poddar ( Ajay Jadeja ).

Dev is a rich business industrialist and is a well known personality among the other rich and famous business persons. He wanted to be the most successful businessman not only in the city but also in the country. Rohan is a simple guy who is not as much passionate as Dev is. Rohan is loved by an interior designer Saanjh Batra ( Celina Jaitley ). One day Rohan gets arrested for murder and gets the life imprisonment. Dev and Saanjh become close friends while sharing the common grief of their friend being arrested.
