Bollywood action thriller, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, directed by Umesh Mehra was released on June 14, 1996. The movie starred Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon and Rekha in lead roles while Gulshan Grover and Inder Kumar also played important roles in the movie. Rekha was seen in her first villain role in the film. Former WWE wrestler Brian Lee played The Undertaker in the film. The film did well at the box office and established Akshay as the real action hero of bollywood industry. The movie became one of the highest grossing films of the year.

The movie starts with Ajay Malhotra, who is working in an orchestra alongwith his friends. He is working for Madam Maya ( Rekha ), who is actually a gangster. Madam Maya and King Don ( Gulshan Kumar ) usually organize fights between their wrestlers and bid a big amount on the winner. Ajay’s elder brother Akshay ( Akshay Kumar ) visit the country after getting the news of Ajay’s kidnapping. After arriving there, Akshay also finds out that Police have a warrant for the arrest of Ajay. Ajay’s friend enquire him about Madam Maya and also suggest that may be Maya is responsible for his brother’s kiddnapping.

Then Akshay decides to join Maya’s gang. In a very short time he becomes very close to her. Maya decides to marry him. Akshay plans his own kidnapping with the help Ajay’s friends. But his all efforts goes in vain when Maya came to know that Akshay is the man with whom her sister Priya ( Raveena Tandon ) is in love. She also find out that Akshay is the brother of Ajay. Now she demands some of her documents and cassettes for the release of Ajay. But things become more complicated when it is revelead that Ajay is not in the custody of Maya also. Then where is Ajay? Whether he is dead or alive?
