Bollywood family drama, Khuddar, directed by Ravi Tandon was released in the year 1982. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Parveen babi in lead roles while Sanbjeev Kumar, Vinod Mehra, Tanuja, Prem Chopra, Ramesh Deo, Bindiya Goswami, Mehmood, Vikas Anand and Pinchoo Kapoor also played important characters in the film. The melodious hit music of the movie was directed by the very famous music director Rajesh Roshan while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar etc.

The movie starts with a guy named Hari Srivastava ( Sanjeev Kumar ), who lives a middle class life alongwith his two step-brothers, Govind ( Amitabh Bachcahn ) and Rajesh ( Vinod Mehra ). Hari get married to a beautiful girl named Seema ( Tanuja ) but soon realises that he has comiited a big mistake as she dislikes both Govind and Rajesh. Hari goes to Bombay for completing his law studies. In his absence, Seema throws both Govind and Rajesh out of the house. Both of them then moves to Bombay and starts leading a life of beggars.

They both are adopted by a kind hearted person named Rahim ( A. K. Hangal ). They meets with his children, Farida and Anwar and starts living alongwith them. they totally looses contact with thier elder brother, Hari. However, Hari is told by his wife that his brothers left the house for some unknown reason. Years later, Govind and Rajesh meets with their elder brother, Hari but unfortunately in the courtroom where both of them has been presented as criminals and Hari is on the chair of the judge.
