The action movie Kidnap is going to release on October 2, 2008 and under the banner of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd. The movie is presently under production and is directed by Sanjay Gadhavi. The lead roles in the film are played by Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Malvade, Imran Khan and Minissha Lamba while the roles of Malaika Arora, Rahul Dev and Amrita Arora are also important. There is also a special appearance by VJ turned film actress Sophie Choudhary.

The movie Kidnap is very special to not only Imraan Khan, Aamir Khan’s nephew who made his debut with “Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na”, but also to Sanjay Dutt and Minissha Lamba who also acted in the latest movie “Bachna ae Haseeno”. The story of the movie is purely about the battle of power between a young lad and a father of a girl who gets kidnapped. The story of the movie is about a businessman Vikrant Raina ( Sanjay Dutt ) who has a wife Mallika ( Vidya Malvade ) and a daughter Sonia ( Minissha Lamba ).

Sonia now lives with her mother and grandmother when her parents decided to separate when she was 10 years old. Sonia was going to celebrate her eighteenth birthday in the coming week but gets kidnapped all of a sudden. Vikrant is the richest Indian living in New York and is a president of Raina Inc. Vikrant returns to India from New York to save her daughter from the kidnapper and is required to several tasks given by the kidnapper Kabir ( Imran Khan ). At the end of each task he gets a clue which brings him closer to Sonia.
