Kisna was a romantic movie released on January 21, 2005 under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. The movie was directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. The actors in the significant roles were Vivek Oberoi, Isha Sharwani, Antonia Bernath and Hrishita Bhatt while the actors Sushmita Sen and Om Puri were also there in the film. The music of the film was directed by Ismail Darbar and the songs were sung by A R Rahman, Hariharan, Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh and Madhushree.

The movie Kisna directed by the renowned director Subhash Ghai is a special movie for the newcomer actress Isha Sharwani who is also a well-known dancer from Kerala. The lead role of the actress is played by another new comer Antonia Bernath from London. The movie is completely Indian ranging from Indian music to Indian emotions. The movie seems an epic tale for the twenty-first century and takes us back to the period of 1940s in the backdrop of serenic beauty of Himalayan regions.

The movie shows the deep love between two people Kisna ( Vivek Oberoi ) and Katherine ( Antonia Bernath ) and signifies that nothing stays forever but love. The love story between them also signifies that love can happen to anyone and at anytime. The movie is a love story between Indian villager Kisna and the daughter Katherine of the British ruler. The movie shows their struggle to achieve love in the time of partition. The sweet music of the film and the slogans being narrated in the film will sooth your mind.
