Kissan is a social movie that is currently under production but is scheduled to release on July 3, 2009 under the banners of Sohail Khan Productions and UTV Motion Pictures. The movie is being directed by Puneet Sira and produced by Sohail Khan. The main roles in the movie are played by Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan and Dia Mirza while the presence of Nauheed Cyrusi and Dalip Tahil supports the film. The music of the film is directed by Dabboo Malik while the songs are sung by Labh Jajua, Parthiv Gohil, Sunidhi Chauhan, Earl D’Souza, Shakti Singh, Siddharth Singh and Shaan.

Kissan is a social movie that revolves showcases the story of a powerful father and his two sons. The movie also showcases the family of farmers with the green fields. The story of the movie revolves mostly around a man named Dayal Singh ( Jackie Shroff ) who is a Kissan and a widower and someone who loved his ancestral land very much. He has two sons Aman ( Arbaaz Khan ) and Jigar ( Sohail Khan ) who are quite different from each other.

While Aman is an educated person and a lawyer now, Jigar has been kept by his father to become a farmer due to lack of money to educate him. The movie takes a turn when a businessman Sohan Seth ( Dalip Tahil ) wanted the lands of the farmers for his commercial interests. He won the trust of most of the farmers while Dayal was never interested in it. Both Aman and Jigar fell in love with their love interests Priya ( Dia Mirza ) and Titli ( Nauheed Cyrusi ) who also add fun to the drama.
