Kitne Door Kitne Paas was a romantic movie released on March 29, 2002 under the banner of M K Pictures. The movie was directed and produced by Mehul Kumar. The top roles in the movie were played by Fardeen Khan, Satish Shah, Amrita Arora and Tiku Talsania while roles of Govind Namdeo and Ketaki Dave were also important. The music of the film was directed by Sanjeev-Darshan while the songs were sung by K K, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Roop Kumar Rathod, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik.

Kitne Door Kitne Paas was a romantic movie directed by Mehul Kumar who has directed several patriotic movies like Tirangaa, Krantiveer and Kohram. It was a bold decision from the director’s side to cast two not-so famous stars in his movie. The reason behind it was that he wanted to cast two fresh faces in the film and seeing the work of Fardeen in “Jungle”, he decided to give him another chance in this. The movie revolves around Jatin ( Fardeen Khan ) and Karishma ( Amrita Arora ) who are two Guajaratis living in America.

Jatin and Karishma met in a mall in New York when they were on a last minute shopping before flying to India. They were required to visit India to marry their spouses whom they have never seen. They never loved each other at first and even didn’t want to see each other’s face. On reaching Delhi, they were supposed to go to Gujarat but they had lost all their money. They take lift in a bus reserved for married couples. Finally before reaching their destinations they found themselves in love with other.
