Bollywood action thriller, Krishan Avtaar, directed by Ashok Gaekwad was released on June 25, 1993. The movie starred Mithun Chakraborthy and Somy Ali in lead roles while Shiva Randani, Hashmat Khan, Raza Murad, Shakti Kapoor, Ashok Saxena, Laxmikant Berde, Paresh Rawal and Guddi Maruti also played significant characters in the film. The hit melodious music of the movie was directed by the well knwon music director duo Nadeem Shrawan while the songs were crooned by Vinod Rathod, Alisha Chinoi and Alka Yagnik.

The movie starts with a guy named Krishan Kumar ( Mithun Chakraborthy ), who is a police inspector by profession. He is living a happy life alongwith his wife, Suman ( Payal ) and a baby girl. But unfortunately his wife dies in a svere car accident. Krishan get devastated with this. Krishan gets another shocking news that he is having a tumor in his brain and may eventually lead him to death. Krishan get shattered with this news. Then a large number of children from the city goes missing and no one has any clue about it.

Krishan then decides to solve this case with the help of his collegue, Avtaar ( Hashmat Khan ). Krishan is also assigned the murder case of his fellow police inspector as his superiors thinks that this murder case and children abductions are interrelated. Krishan and Avtaar starts their investigation and soon reveals that there are several influential persons are involved in theses cases. Krishan must solve the case before his certain death from the brain tumour.
