Bollywood hit movie, Krrish, directed by Rakesh Roshan was released on 23 June 2006. The movie starred Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles while Rekha and Naseeruddin Shah also played important roles in the movie. The music of the film was given by Rajesh Roshan. The movie is a science fiction superhero film which is actually a sequel to Koi Mil Gaya.

The movie starts with Krishna ( Hrithik Roshan ), who is the son of Rohit and Nisha. Rohit and Nisha both are died now. Krishna grows up under the care of his grandmother Sonia ( Rekha ), who knows that Krishna has inherited the superpowers from his father Rohit. Due to the fear of exploitation of Krishna because of his magical power, his grandmother Sonia, moves far away into a village where nobody knows about them and their past. Krishna spends his childhood there.

One day Krishna meets Priya ( Priyanka Chopra ), who has arrived from Singapore to visit India. After several meetings Krishna develops a soft spot for Priya. Priya and her friend came to know about the supernatural powers of Krishna. Finally they returned to Singapore. Then Priya invites Krishna to Singapore for the purpose of meeting with her parents. Sonia allows him to go there but with a promise that he would keep his powers a secret. But circumstances forces him to use his powers. Finally he decides to don a broken mask and rescue the people. He becomes a sensation in the news. But nobody knows about his real identity, nobody have seen his face. He is titled as Krrish. But one day Vikramn Sinha ( Sharat Saxena ), who is Rohit’s best friend, sees him and tell him that his father Rohit is still alive. Now Krishna is on the mission to free his father as well as the whole world from the arms and bad intentions of Dr. Siddhant Arya ( Naseeruddin Shah ).
