The social family drama Kuch Tum Kahon Kuch Hum Kahein was released on June 28, 2002. The movie was directed by K Ravi Shankar and produced by D Rama Naidu. The main roles in the movie were played by Fardeen Khan, Farida Jalal, Richa Pallod and Vikram Gokhale while the significant roles were played by Sharad Kapoor and Govind Namdeo. The music of the film was directed by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Fardeen Khan, Hariharan, Shaan, Prashant, Preeti and Pinky.

The movie Kuch Tum Kahon Kuch Hum Kahein is a remake of National Award winning Telugu movie Kalisundam Raa. The movie has been directed by South Indian director K. Ravi Shankar. The story of the movie revolves around two families fighting with each other. Fardeen Khan is their grand son who tries to end the feus between them. Abhay ( Fardeen Khan ) is a happy and cool guy who also has an easy going attitude towards life.

Abhay is a guy influenced by western atmosphere but when he receives the invitation to visit his native village by his grandfather ( Vikram Gokhale ), he gets thrilled and excited. But when he actually get there in the village he feels if he is a misfit in the family but his helpful and true nature wins the heart of the family people. He also surprises everyone when he got easily adapted to the village life. He soon falls in love with Mangla ( Richa Pallod ) who is their family friend. The twist in the story comes when the family comes to know about this.
