The romantic comedy movie Kyaa Kool Hai Hum was released on May 6, 2005 under the banners of Balaji Telefilms Ltd and Jeetendra Ent. The movie was directed by Sangeeth Sivan and produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The main roles in the film were played by Tusshar Kapoor, Isha Koppikar, Ritesh Deshmukh and Neha Dhupia while the supporting roles were played by Anupam Kher and Shoma Anand. Music of the film was given by Anu Malik and the songs were sung by Kunal Ganjawala, Jay Sean, Anu Malik, K K and Sunidhi Chauhan.

The movie Kyaa Kool Hai Hum is based on the theme of vulgar comedy and tries extremely hard to woo the audience. It is the story of two strong friends Rahul ( Tusshar ) and Karan ( Riteish ), who are very close from the beginning. Rahul and Karan are quite different from each other but can still manage to keep their friendship alive. While Rahul is hardworking and sincere, Karan is flirty and a playboy. Both of them have their different dreams. Rahul wished to be a famous fashion designer, Karan wanted to marry a beautiful girl with good bank balance.

The city gets shocked with a series of rapes and murders and the police was in search of this criminal. Their prime attention shifts to Rahul as a suspect and they started observing him. The cops made a plan to catch him with the help of a famous criminologist ( Anupam Kher ). A special police inspector Urmila Martodkar ( Ishaa Koppikar ) was also appointed to observe him closely. She tries to seduce him so that he can be caught red-handed but his innocence and simplicity wins her heart. On the other hand, Karan also had his problems.
