Ladies Tailor was a comedy movie released on July 7, 2006 under the banner of Sri Raajeshwari Films. The movie was directed by R Udaykanth and produced by P Vijay Kumar. The actors in the top roles were Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Rishi, Kim Sharma, Razzak Khan, Shahbaaz Khan and Manoj Pahwa while supporting roles were played by Sonika Gill, Preeti Bhutani and Krishna Bhatt. The music of the film was directed by Nishad Chandra and the songs were sung by Janu, Kunal Ganjawala, Poornima Chandra, Abhijeet, Sunidhi Chauhan and Sonu Kakkar.

The movie Ladies Tailor was not only special to the director R Udaykanth who is debuting with the film but also to the lead actor Rajpal Yadav who has come for the first time in the role of a primary hero in the film. The story of the movie revolves around Chander ( Rajpal Yadav ) who is the only talented tailor in his colony. Inspite of being talented he is lazy and does not like to work hard. He believes that one day fortune will shower success and wealth over him. His friend Pyare ( Krishna Bhatt ) and FTV ( Manoj Pahwa ) tried a lot to convince him but of no use.

Chander then decides to meet a fortune teller so that he can know more about his future. The fortune teller tells him that he can succeed if he finds a ‘Padmini jati’ girl who has a mole on her right lap. Only this could meet his ‘Rajyog’ that is there in his hand. He then tries to find that girl and was helped by Pyare and FTV but there was a big problem that Janardhan Bhai stripped a man off his hands whoever tries to misbehave with the girls. Jeeva was taking care of the colony in absence of Janardhan Bhai. FTV bribes Jeeva to carry on with the work of mole searching.
