Lalach was a social and action film released in the year of 1983. The movie was directed by Shankar Nag and produced by Prem Bedi. The main roles in the movie were played by Vinod Mehra, Ranjeet, Bindiya Goswami and Anant Nag while the presence of Kajal Kiran and Pran supported the film. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Asha Bhonsle, Chandrani Mukherjee, Diraj Kaur and Shailendra Singh.

Lalach was a social cum action film that was like all the other movies released in Bollywood at that time. The female lead in the film was played by Bindiya Goswami who had acted in movies like Duniyadari released in 1977 and Khoon Kharaba released in 1980 while her first movie was Jeevan Jyoti released in 1976.
