The comedy movie Life Partner is going to release on August 14, 2009 under the banners of Burmawala Bros and Studio 18. The movie is being directed by Rumi Jaffery and is produced by Abbas Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla. The top roles in the movie are played by Fardeen Khan, Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor and Genelia Dsouza while Prachi Desai and Anupam Kher are also there in the film. The music of the film is directed by Pritam Chakraborty while the songs are sung by Mika Singh, Shakti Singh, Ajay Jhingran, Soham Chakrabarthy, Antara Mitra, Sunidhi Chauhan, Kirti Sagathia, Kunal Ganjawala, Shaan and Shreya Ghosal.

The production of the comedy movie Life Partner has been completed and the story of the movie revolves around that special someone called “Life Partner” of every married person. The movie revolves around three characters named Karan ( Fardeen Khan ), Bhavesh ( Tusshar Kapoor ) and Jeet ( Govinda ). The movie starts displaying the deep love between Karan and Sanjana ( Genelia Dsouza ) who want to cement their relationship by marrying each other. But love marriage does not always guarantee the long lasting love between the persons.

The story was little different for Bhavesh who cared and respected his family more than any other thing in the world. He loves a beautiful girl named Prachi ( Prachi Desai ) who also loves him. Both marry each other and with the permission of their respective family. The story of Jeet was completely different as he never believed in marriage. In fact he is a divorce lawyer who is responsible for the break up of his clients.
