The action thriller Locket was released on April 11, 1986. The movie was directed by Ramesh Ahuja and produced by Tahir Hussain. The significant roles in the movie were enacted by Jeetendra, Vinod Mehra, Rekha and Asha Sachdev while the roles of Vijayendra Ghatge, Nirupa Roy, Jagdeep, Kader Khan, Shreeram Lagoo and Sudha Chopra were equally important. The music of the film was directed by Bappi Lahiri while the songs were sung by Mohammed Rafi, Lata Mangeshkar, Mahendra Kapoor, Kishore Kumar, Priti Sagar, Shailendra Singh, Usha Uthup and Suresh Wadkar.

The movie Locket was a famous action and thriller film that revolved mostly around an Emperor ( Murad ) and a man named Thakur Veer Pratap Singh ( Kader Khan ). The Emperor was the only person who ruled the place but his life and throne was in danger now as he had a relative Thakur Veer Pratap Singh who had openly declared in public that he will take the crown and kingdom of the Emperor after him by hook or by crook. This had made the Emperor worried.

The only obstacle and person between Thakur Veer Pratap Singh and the kingdom was the Emperor’s son who is currently a mere child. The Emperor gives his child to his trusted Diwan Sardarilal so that he could save his life from the Thakur. Diwan along with his wife and children escapes from the kingdom. Unfortunately, the Diwan is caught by the Thakur and imprisoned but his wife managed to escape with the children. Only Diwan knew now who was the real prince.
