Love Aaj Kal is a romantic movie that is scheduled to release on July 31, 2009 under the banner of Illuminati Films. The production of the movie is completed and is being directed by Imtiaz Ali while it is being produced by Dinesh Vijan. The major roles in the movie are played by Saif Ali Khan, Neetu Singh, Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor while the roles of Rahul Khanna and Vir Das are equally important. The music of the film is being directed by Pritam Chakraborty while the songs are sung by Neeraj Shridhar, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mohit Chauhan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and K K.

Love Aaj Kal is a romantic movie as it is guessed from its titile and showcases the scenario of love in different stages of life. In today’s scenario, the story is about the couple Jai ( Saif Ali Khan ) and Meera ( Deepika Padukone ) living in London. They lived and loved happily to each other and thus did not want to get tied down with any relationships. They are happy being independent and decide to remain always. This is the story of today’s modern couple which is different from earlier ones.

Then there is the story of Veer Singh and Harleen who are the couple of earlier time. Veer Singh fell in instant love when he saw Harleen for the first time. The love for the couples is the type of love that earlier used to be, some forever love kind of relationship. Veer travelled thousands of kilometers to have only a glimpse of her standing in her balcony. Both the guys are very different and kept wondering how the other can be the way he is at present.
