Bollywood romantic family drama, Maang Bharo Sajna, directed by Rama Rao Tatineni was released oin the year 1980. The movie starred Jeetendra and Rekha in lead roles while Maushami Chatterjee, Om Shivpuri, Vikas Anand, Kaajal Kiran, Asrani, Yunus Parvez, Dheeraj Kumar and Praveen Paul also played significant characters in the film. The melodious hit evergreen music of the film was composed by the veteran music director duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal while the songs were rendered by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Asha Bhonsle.

The movie starts with Chandru ( Jeetendra ), who lives with his family which comprises of hsi father, Ram Kumar
( Jeetendra ), Mother Sita ( Moushami Chatterjee ) and an elder brother, Shyam Kumar ( Dheeraj Kumar ) and his wife. Chandru meets with a beautiful girl named Geeta Sinha ( Kaajal Kiran ) and instantly falls in love with her. Geeta is the daughter of a wealthy doctor. Chandra and Geeta decides to get married soon and with the permission of their parents they get engaged with each other. Both the families starts doing preperations for the marraige of Chandra and Geeta.

But just before the marraige, Dr, Sinha learns that Chandra is not the real son of Ram and sita but actally the son of a prostitute named Radha ( Rekha ). He ask about this to Ram to know what the reality actually is. Chandru get shocked to know that he is actually the son of prostitute with whom his father, Ram Kumar had physical relationship. What will he do now?
