Maha Sangram was an action movie released on January 12, 1990 under the banner of Neha Arts. The movie was directed by Mukul Anand and produced by Nitin Manmohan. The key roles in the movie were played by Vinod Khanna, Aditya Pancholi, Madhuri Dixit and Gulshan Grover while the roles of Shakti Kapoor, Amjad Khan, Govinda, Shaheen and Sonu Walia were also important. The music of the film was directed by Anand Chitragupt and Milind Chitragupt while the songs were sung by Amit Kumar, Anuradha Paudwal, Udit Narayan, Mohammad Aziz, Suresh Wadkar and Alisha Chinoy.

The term Sangram in the title of the movie Maha Sangram itself signifies the genre of the movie that happens to be an action movie. One can expect the movie to be a hue fight between two people or groups. The movie was directed by the famous director Mukul Anand who debuted as a director with the movie Kanoon Kya Karega released in 1984 but has directed many hits like Agneepath, Hum, Dus and Trimurti. He has also done story writing for the movie Sultanat released in 1986.

The movie was produced by Nitin Manmohan who has produced many movies like Bol Radha Bol, Eena Meena Deeka, Chal Mere Bhai, Nayee Padosan and Tathastu. He debuted as a producer with the movie Baat Ban Jaye released in 1986. The movie Maha Sangram featured famous stars in the lead roles but despite this it was unable to do any good at the Box Office, however its release was noticed.
