Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya was a comedy movie released on July 15, 2005 under the banners of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd and Sohail Khan Productions. The movie was directed by David Dhawan and produced by Dhillin Mehta and Sohail Khan. The actors in the major roles were Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Katrina Kaif and Sohail Khan while the roles of Arshad Warsi and Isha Koppikar were equally important. Music of the film was directed by Himesh Reshammiya and the songs were sung by Sonu Nigam, Kamal Khan, Jayesh Gandhi, Shaan and Amrita Kak.

The king of laughter, director David Dhawan is back yet again with his great comedy movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. There was a movie “Maine Pyaar Kiya” in 1989 with Salman in the lead role and after 16 years, he is in a film that reads “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya”. The movie revolves about Samir ( Salman Khan ) who is a doctor by profession but what if he himself give pain to someone. He is an orthopedic doctor but have that big fetish for women and neither can the fairer sex remain away from this man. He has a nurse Naina ( Sushmita Sen ) that is always obsessed with her work and duties.

Naina understands him completely and thus always makes sure that he never misses his meetings with the patients as well as his girlfriends. To prevent his affairs becoming serious, Samir has one good reason that also works most of the times; he tells the girls that he is married. Girls have no option but to leave him. Finally Samir have found the right girl for him, Sonia ( Katrina Kaif ). Samir loves this beautiful girl and wants to marry her at any cost but she had one condition, she need to meet Samir’s wife before getting married.
